I went to one of those...did the same thing...only bloke...40 odd (very odd) chitter chatting, gossipping ...very disconcerting...finger wagging, pointing, giggling, anything for a social chin wag....

...then I got chatted up by a very nice lady who told me that I should be careful because some of the guys who were there last year didnt make it

...and Mrs Vernon sighs again - but continues to blank her husband, who is intent on sharing his body with forty five women on a Monday night...

I started back on WW last week and have somehow lost 4lb without even really trying. My boyfriend did point out that I'd given up my "Christmas diet" of cheese, chocolate biscuits and booze and that was probably the real reason for the loss

Next week I'll take the lead out of my pockets and win the slimmer of the week.

Good luck vernon, I managed to loose a stone last year, it hasn't found me again yet, I was going for a stone and a half but plateaued at 11 stone and stopped.

Actually I think it takes some guts for a guy to walk into one of those sessions alone..well it does for th eladies as well I guess...there seems to be more of them though...

When I did SW a couple of years ago, there were 2 blokes in the group. Both of them wiped the floor with the women loss wise (probably something to do with *star* weeks lol). They were also treated as the token cuties who every middle aged woman wanted to sit by.

I lost 2.5 stone in 6 months and still follow the plan 80% of the time to keep the blubber off (well, most of it off). All the best.
