Nooooooo....

Anyway, I think I want an outer pitching first one.

The Duolite can be pitched outer first......

It can.....?

Bugger!

I took delivery of a Duolite tent this week. This evening I tested how quickly I could erect it and pack it away.

Erecting it and pegging it out took four minutes.
Disassembly and packing away took three minutes.

I elected to erectit as packed i.e. as one.

I'm seriously impressed.

Stop it Vernon, I'm weak in the ways of tents.

What did you think of the quality of the materials. I've heard them criticised as a bit thin on the Wild Country tents and would it be a squeeze for two adults, because the back is pinched a bit?

The ground sheet does seem thinner than that of my Vango tents but as I habitually put a sheet of builders PVC under the tent I am not unduly concerned. The flysheet seems fine. There's enough room for two. I'll pitch it again later and let you know.

I pitched the tent again this evening and had a look at the space at the back. I reckon that it's OK for two people. I also think that it will be a warmer tent as there is little mesh on the inner. The foot end has some mesh that can be uncovered as does the front door.

I'll be field testing it at Knockengorroch festival at the end of the month. There's usually a frost or two.

Thanks Vernon, it is sorely tempting. Can't decide to go for one or not. I'm in a dithery state of mind.
