- my excuse 'at least I got dropped on a (longish) hill after going up another rise..excuses...excuses...excuses...excuses...excuses...excuses...though, on the hill i did get dropped on i did make a last ditch attempt to get up prior to everybody else...if only i'd have gone harder to make it up 'the blighter...they were scrapping with each other towards the end; the full on stuff...etc..! Which was brought on by me having sat on for a few miles then 'getting off up the hill and racey cyclists not being very communal or social...chased me down...
