That is good even if the Police only send him a letter it will make him think before he does it again, it also proves that it is worth reporting people.

Possibly he has already been reported for something similar and the Police are looking to build a case against him and need you as a witness.

I guess I am a wimp - but I would 'have got out of the way'. Yep, give in to the bully.

But - if the description is accurate - nothing, however reasonable is going to pacify this nutter. In fact it can only wind him up even more. And you are most vulnerable person around. I don't wanna be a dead hero.

Is that giving in? Well unless this was a once in life rage (unlikely) he is going to lose it again. And mad people do mad things. Hopefully only he will be involved. More likely he will hit someone else but if they have a ton of steel around them it may not be as serious as to a cyclist. It is important to report so there is stuff on file even if no action is take 'Cos it will catch up with him eventually.

So a wimp, but at least an optimistic wimp.

But good luck anyway for taking the real risk of standing up to him. The police/cps do occasionally do the right thing ...

Funny you should say that............ :tongue:

Just spent almost two hours in the Station giving a statement, that was half a page of my notes, is now 5 pages long. The vehicle is 'known' to the Police, and the officer was keen to see a crime lodged against the driver, rather than it be logged for 'intelligence' purposes.

This could go to court, they are going to look for CCTV although none in the immediate area. I may also have to ID the driver.

The officer did mention the car is a 'mennace'.

So always worth reporting the idiots !

Something like driving without due consideration or what ever - I'm no expert. The officer cycled to work so understood the issues. The car is also local to Fallowfield, so watch out all of us who ride through.
