The director of such films as Top Gun and brother of Ridley Scott, Tony Scott has commited suicide by jumping off a bridge. He was 68. No doubt more details will emerge as the day goes on.

Tony Scott was a close, personal friend of mine, well I did some gardening work in Wimbledon for him in about 1985-ish. And I met an Andrex dog too.
