No, not a link to some dolly bird, I'm talking heat of the day.

It's 7pm and the temperature's still 33c. It's reckoned to have hit 38 around here during the day, and I can believe it. It's forecast for the 35 tomorrow. Too damned hot for me.

I used to love the heat, or think I did, but experience has shown me that my preference is for around 18c. I never thought I'd be wishing for winter!

Makes perfect sense. I was out at 6:30 this morning. It was okay then! There was a local race today, started at 3pm, didn't envy them that!

Don't let the temp. get you down, it's what happens.. France in August, innit? I have been trying to do building work today but ended up just treating a few beams and inside pointing due to the heat.

How did the LEL go? (Not my idea of fun, I prefer the Pyrennees, but not in August!)
