Took A Tumble

Horrible wet day Saturday,out for a few miles.An old boy,yes,older than me,pushes his bike across a cycle path,& blocks the road while he gets on.Easiest way to avoid him is up the dropped granite kerb,onto the cycle path.Front wheel went,& so did I.Few scrapes & bruises,& the old boy rides away,blissfully unaware.Back out on the same route yesterday,so no lasting effects.

I was fortunate,I think I took most of the impact,bike is a Sirrus Ltd ,only damage I can find is a scrape on the bar end,I was still clipped on for the worst of it.

I'm glad you're OK. Gives you a bit of a turn though doesn't it.
Lets face it you can't put us 'mature ' ones down.
