Incidentally, can I just share this? Nearly 8 minutes of fantastic ensemble playing done live on the Tube in 1984, but look how bored the audience are! I adore this track but I suppose when they were dragging kids off the street to make up the audience you're going to get a fair few who don't care.
I've seen them live and they have enormous energy and talent, and I love them to bits, but it will take a good few more years before they reach the subtlety and range of people like Paco de Lucia and Al di Meola.
Nils Lofgren. No question about it. Plays wonderful acoustic and electric guitar. Writes songs which I've always found relevant to every stage of my life and has always stayed true to himself.
