I'm putting together a piece on the top five tips for travelling light when commuting by bike and hoped this might be fertile ground for suggestions. I'm thinking tips for someone who works in an office, has a laptop but not a locker, and may well not have access to shower facilities.

Baby Wipes.
A few of those work remarkably well if you don't have shower facilities.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Always carry 2 inner tubes and don't rely on just a CO 2 inflator.
Layers are better than one thick jacket for body temp regulation
All because a driver has stopped and looked at you does not mean they will not drive into you.

In good weather leave the house/office early and extended the commute.

In bad weather same as above.

In all seriousness, it isn't a race, take your time and get to work relaxed, safe and sweat free.

Leave spare kit at work, now't worse than putting on wet clothes for the ride home

Keep a cheap pair of overshoes at work.
Just cos it was a beatiful day on the way in, doesn't mean it won't be chucking it down on the way home.
