Hi all,

Saw this on someone else's bike - looks like it attached to the quick release and rubber straps to the frame, so I could attach it to my Cinelli Experience that has no mudguard or rack points.

Anyone done this?

I have a rack on my Allez that I fitted using an adapter that went on the QR and the seat post. Sorry I bought them a few years back and can’t remember from where.

Yes, that's how it was attached to the skewer, but it was only strapped at the top around the seat stays.

Do you find it to be solid and reliable, or does it rattle around a bit.

As stable as the racks on my genesis which has fixing points. The only bug bear is if you get a puncture you have to remove the skewer to release the wheel, if you have heavy items on the rack you need to take them off first so it doesn’t flop down once the skewer is out. Oh and make sure you put the spacers and little cone springs in a safe place so you don’t lose them whilst mending said puncture.
