Topic Description (removed)

The board software upgrade, due later in the year, will ring a number of changes - one of which is the removal of the topic description; that additional line of text underneath the thread title.

To prepare for this change I am going to remove the description from the "new topic" form, so you won't be able to add one anymore.

The existing ones will remain in view for the time being, so any threads that already have a description will be unaffected.

I'm hoping to get this done sometime over the weekend.

it can be useful if it helps me to decide whether to open a thread or not, but a decent thread title can do that as well.

It's a feature I always used! No probs though, I'll just have to be more concise with my subject line!
