In fact it is exactly the opposite!

Most places are having a disastrous year as people have voted against the hyped prices and inconvenience by not booking.

Many hotels also refused to book as they wanted commercial bookings to take the whole hotel so turned down the odd booking in hope of the big sponsors.

London bookings are 30% down on the same period last year, and Weymouth down 40% - 50%

All in all for tourism the whole Olympic charade has been a disaster!
