Torque settings - alumnium vs steel vs titanium!

Good morning all

I am thinking of investing in a torque wrench! My bike has various bolts & components - some of which are aluminium, steel and titanium. Various components are marked with the recommend torque setting and some not of course. I do not have any carbon stuff at all.

I did manage to find a table with a good general torque guide to particular components. However, with regard to aluminium, steel and titanium does any of these metals need a little more or a little less torque?

Any help would be appreciated!

There is no quick answer to the question because it is not material related but related to bolt thickness and quantity.
On a stem with one bar clamp bolt the torque could be as high as 12NM (6 or 8mm bolt) but on one with four small (4mm) bolts the torque would be 4NM each.

Rather ask specific questions about the bolts you don't have data for.

As said there all different, and if you use a copper slip grease etc all the bolts will be over tightend...
so a given torque is for a dry bolt and thread..
so allow a couple of inch pounds less if using grease
