Since im shopping alot and alot of times i have some questions there is no point in making dozens of threads A or B and why, that's why i will gather all of this crap here so it's easier for me to get an answer and prevent myself from repeating all over since forum shopping corner is pretty crowded.

So for a start:

1. what's the best budget (up to 30) waterproof around?
2. i want to keep my legs warm in the mornings when im out to work but i dont want to get full sized tights because mostly they are padded and i want to wear em all day long at work (12h) and cycle in them under my work trousers so there is no point wearing padded all the time but i still need leg warmers to work, any ideas? will leg warmers like these be enough or should i get some ones that are suited for running? http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-regulate-light-leg-warmers/
3. does spd shoes comes up with cleats in box or do i have to buy them separately?

The cleats come with the pedals usually, not the shoes. Or you can buy them separately.

No. The shoes are SPD SL (3 bolt) and the pedals are SPD (2 bolt).

I have the A530 pedals and these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-m064-spd-mountain-bike-shoes/ shoes. A dhb equivalent would be http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-m10-mountain-bike-cycling-shoe/ .

1 & 2: Pass, so I'll leave those to others.
2: Nope, you get cleats in the box with most pedals, never with shoes.
4. No, you need MTB shoes for SPD pedals. Some road shoes (not those) also take SPD cleats but they're not a good idea, as the cleats are exposed so wear quicker and mean walking is difficult if not dangerous.

1. I'm happy with my funkier rain Cape, packs quite small, keeps the water off but a bit boil in the bag, if you run hot. This will be the case for any budget and not so budget waterproof
2. The leg warmers you have linked are for summer not wi tee. To keep warm you need thermal ones. I have both pairs of arm warmers, yesterday I needed the thermals already

thanks for both points, about leg warmers i mostly need something that will just block the wind, i dont need leg warmers to keep legs warm, it's bike that will make it

Anyone knows any decent full finger gloves that will keep my hands warm but not sweaty? im having now some crappy muddyfox gloves they look terrible, stitches everywhere and even on 10C weather my palms were starting to freeze...
