Standing at bus stop today had to make a delivery via bus as what I was carrying was to heavy for a bike. Coming down sidcup hill I noticed a bmx bike coming down filtering traffic. To kids aged about 11 on the same bike one sitting on handle bars facing driver of the bike with hands round the drivers neck.

Promptly they got cut up by a car swerved and then continued on their travels down the footpath cutting up peds. If it wasnt so annoying his skills would have been impressive. Must have balance like a cat.

No problem venting about kids on bikes. Like with us, there's good and bad. Some go to bikeability and learn something. Then there's the others.
There I was a couple of days ago entrance/exit to a busy supermarket. I'm in a big car Citroen C5 Estate. Two small roundabouts. Not new, but all the lane markings, white lines etc are easily seen. I'm on my way out and the road aheads clear. I slow down on the approach to the 1st RAB, there's traffic approaching from all other 3 junctions, but the car opposite's going straight on, which blocks traffic from the right.
I move off.
Car at the next entry stops and gives way to me and I exit the roundabout.
To find 2 French youths on brakeless BMXs
At least I assume they were french, cos they were riding down the middle of the lane straight towards me

My 11 year old has two bikes, one to commute to school on and a good one for serious messing about on. He rides properly, done BC training etc etc and is desperate to get on the velodrome. Then there are kids just messing about on a bike.

Us cyclists can't fix everyone on a bike. That's life
