Can't get to angry about that because the route does pretty much come past my house, compared to previous years.

Can't get to angry about that because the route does pretty much come past my house, compared to previous years.

It goes past several of my ex-houses (well, within a km or so) in Edinburgh and Lancaster, but remains steadfastly nearly a thousand km from my current house.

Got to give the sprinters something every now and again, or there won't be any left - and you need some of them for the flatter stages you can't actually avoid.

Sounds like a very good idea to me. If not I’ll be up on Epynt - hopefully they have them riding to the sound of machine gun and canon fire or take them down a gravel sector through a mock ambush (all of which I had on an ultra there last year).

Ohh I am jealous, great memories of rallying there in the 60s and 70s, when we drove the stages in the dark!
As it is, I'll probably be watching in Brampton

Used to go to watch the rallies up there in the 90s. I was looking recently to see if they still do them as I fancied going up with my camera but couldn’t find much info and think they limit where you can spectate much more these days.
