Tour de France coverage in the UK (historical question)

Hey folks. I'm writing a short blog article to do with cycling and have a quick question. In the 1990s Channel 4 / VTV broadcast the TdF highlights with commentary by Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen on most evenings up until 2001 when the programme was dropped in favour of the cricket if I remember correctly. ITV eventually bought over the broadcasting rights from the European Broadcasting Union.

Can anyone recall the duration of the C4 highlights show? I seem to remember it being just half an hour long but it may have been longer - maybe an hour.

It was half an hour and I seem to recall they had an hour occasionally, maybe the weekends.
