Hmm, a finish up the Madeleine, and then over the Joux Plane aren't hard?
Well it's all relative. The remaining stages are 159 km with 1986 m, 111 km with 3517 m & 124 km with 2925 m. That is hardly mind blowing for me. Just wondering if she could possibly hold on. I'm trying to figure out if the women's races (non sprints) are still won by a more all rounder type of rider than true specialists. If this were a 3 week race, the cumulative buildup would destroy a certain type of rider as well as a certain weight of rider. Trying to figure out how different the rules are for a 9 day race.
Just for arguments sake, would WVA be able to win GC if the men raced this parcours for 9 days? No, because of Pogacar & Vingegaard, but maybe without those two?!
