I wouldn't be too sure about that, Keith. There was an article in yesterday's paper here quoting Pat McQuaid saying he wanted the UCI to expand globally because cycling was too dependent on the TdF. In 2009 the ProTour, he said, would include the Tour of California and the Tour of Qinghai Lake in China.

Working at the moment but it's so cold that the cycling is also taking a knock and thought of going out at night is not so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
