OMG are they letting him ride an ebike as long as he doesn't do anything radical like win a race?

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the amount of change G has seen in his career? That Barloworld Cannondale TT bike looks seriously less aero than his Pinarello road bike, and though he did the TdF '22 opening TT in his gilet, it was probably a better bet than whatever he's wearing there. Admittedly Barloworld weren't exactly a top funded team, but anyway.

2007 to 2025 ,he must be really old 🤣. He mentioned on his podcast hes now racing Brad Wiggins son Ben which makes him feel old

I was impressed that he has the honour of having been both the youngest rider in his first Tour in 2007 and the oldest rider in his last this year.
He's ridden 14 Tours and for a rider that is reputed to have difficulty staying upright, he's completed all but one.

The ToB route today finishes at Burton Dassett Hills Country Park in Warwickshire. Tomorrow morning, Banbury Star Cycling Club are holding their annual club hillclimb event on the hill in the park that the peloton will be ascending three times today. I'll be there, racing, tomorrow, but I'll have a look at the KH5 Strava segment this evening so I know what time to aim for!

Fantastic career . He has been the true face of UK cycling more so than froome or Wiggins. ...imo
