Just planning a route to catch the women's tour on Sunday ,thinking I can make Newbold Pacey then have time to cut across the loop with time for a cafe stop to see them again at Bishop Itchington

Yahoo! Won the quiz at the finish line today in Blackpool. Prize was a Lidl-Trek jersey signed by Fleur Moors (leader in the young riders classification). Its about 10 sizes too small for me.

The Women’s tour will ride some of the roads I was on last Sunday. I was going to be on them this weekend but brought it forward a weekend fortunately!

So I looked at going to stage 1 or 2 of the men's tour.

So I then sent slightly grumpy message to Lincs CoCo asking where the event cycle parking will be, as the spectator guide only says "The free Citymapper app can help you plan your journey to Lincoln by bus or train, or to your chosen viewing spots by walking or cycling. Visit " and then just ends mid-sentence, with nothing else about cycling to the stages and of course I won't trust a council app with my phone. (They can't run websites. Why the heck would you think they can run an app?)

I quickly got a completely useless reply with a link to the same guide that I was asking them about. Have they started letting AI answer emails? It's that level of useless.

Does anyone here know where the event cycle parking in Lincoln or Boston is likely to be? And where's useful to leave the car if I "park and pedal" into Lincoln instead of relying on the trains? For Boston, I'd probably park in one of the villages to the south.

Looks like Pidders is giving this one the swerve. Might be tired after his hour and a half of exercise at the weekend.

Next race: Canada, which I think might be a good match for his talents.
