Hello,
Managed to get a good location on the Newton side of Waddington Fell yesterday for my first try at "action sports" photography, I usually specialise in Landscapes (http://www.definedlight.com) so this was a bit of challenge for me.
Biggest fright for me was when I stood up from a very low crouched position the Peloton was quite literally less than a foot away from my face (unbeknown I tell you) and if you look at one of the shots you can see a Rabobank rider staring down at me, anyways without further ado:-
He needs a devil's outfit!

Off they go in the classic arrow head formation
Thomas De Gendt current King of The Mountains followed closely by one of his team mates
Fave of the bunch this... Close up of Thomas De Gendt powering up the fell
Think that's Vlad at the back of the Agritubel team car / rider
The main bunch of the peloton is arriving with Team Rabobank working for the yellow jersey
Peloton coming alongside me now (makes a good W'paper at 1650 this shot)
Team Rapha Condor in attendance!
Looks like the climb is getting to one of the riders...

Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did taking them, the only disadvantage of this photography lark is that you don't actually get to see any of the race, but I really enjoyed the couple of hours up there and will be back next year!
