you know it's tough when these guys start walking up the koppenberg...

watching it here http://www.justin.tv/yavido101#r=DO5yjHU~

I think it was more to do with someone losing speed and hitting the side verge, thus having to unclip, which caused the group behind to slow, and consequently have to unclip to avoid falling.

And on an incline like that, there was no way they could get back onto the bike until they'd run to the top.

Great power by Cancellara to lose Boonen who, to his credit, didn't lose 2nd place.

Yeah a fair amount of credit has to go to Boonen,After he got left he was suffering but did really well to keep 2nd and away from the chasing group.

Personally though I think he will get his revenge at next weeks paris roubaix

Cancellara is certainly in some very good form this year but again Boonen is the bridesmaid. Millar is also having a good year but he has got some very good opposition to overcome in these races!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is anyone else surprised at just how easily Cancellara can sit in the saddle and ride away from the others as if they're second-raters?

His upper body torso is amazing almost triangular to his waist. That chest must have some cubic capacity as well as being incredibly efficent, Cant think of another cyclist built like that, ticks like aswiss clock.

I suspect an element of suspicion there, Rich!

I just think that Cancellara is just a very strong, talented and determined rider.

But he is one of Bjarne (I don't do drugs) Riis!!!

Moi, a cynic?

I don't really have any basis for suspicion apart from the history of cycling and Boardman's quote "If it looks unbelievable, it probably is"

Slightly off topic, but I would like to know what others thought about the kit for Footton Servetta?

What on earth  is it going to look like if they get wet?
Does no one think about putting the mock up (steady on at the back ) on a cyclist and seeing what it looks like in a proper race?

I cannot find a picture to copy and paste. It is a non-descript beige colour with some black.

This to your satisfaction, Speicher?

It does not look very good does it?

There is one team kit with lots of brown, but that does at least look sort of "retro". Feeton Serviette just looks, em er....

Yes, I think it did, and the same with the arm warmers. Which looks even worse, especially on someone with the merest hint of a suntan.

The Footen Servetto kit has just been discussed on the commentary for the tour de Basque, just caught the tale end of the discussion, but I gather they are not impressed either.
