Great first stage. Brilliant from Alaphilippe and Roglic. Should be a great week's racing.

The way that these two are blowing away Grand Tour regulars, are they serious Giro, TdF or Vuelta contenders themselves?

74k to go, 3m40 gap to a De Gendt group ahead, GC teams finally helping reel it in. Late coverage start due to tech problems at etb.

I'd be very surprised if Bardet and his two teammates didn't get disqualified for taking a tow behind their car - for ages!

Roglic appears to have lost a few kilos this year which obviously helps on the climbs, but didn't stop him from powering to the TT win yesterday.

Roglic is nearly 2 minutes ahead of the field - doesn't appear to have any weaknesses at the moment.
