    Hi,

I am buying my first 'adult' bike and was looking for some advice.

I will be using the bike for some touring holidays (Holland planned atm) and for weekend rides mainly on roads and gravel paths - so panniers and mudguards would be critical. I have around £400 to spend. I have picked out 3 bikes which I think look suitable:

    Jamis Allegro Sport

    Specialized Vita

    Pendleton Brooke Hybrid

Which of these three is best and is there any other bikes I should be considering?

    Thanks
    Kerry

I'm after a new road bike/tourer and I've been looking into the Royal. How light and fast do you find it?
