Touring Holland

I am thinking of touring Holland next year.
I am unsure weather to go from town/village to town/village or stay in a youth hostel type of thing

Go in the Easter time to see Tulips.
Don't restrict yourself to one place. Cycle from place to place. It is good start to learn touring.

You can't beat the Netherlands for cycle touring: flat, fantastic cycling infrastructure and the entire population cycles so every B&B and hotel will be used to people turning up with bikes.

I did the North Sea Route last year from Hook of Holland to Esbjerg, which was a fantastic ride. This year completed the lap with the above ride, but really you can't go wrong anywhere in the country (well, you may want to stay out of the extreme south if you want to keep it flat).
