Don't ever suffer with a sore ass, that is not my saddle problem. Everyone I know who wears those cycling shorts seems to be forever washing them out, putting on cream and keeping the Savlon factory in full production. I have none of those problems.
I agree, I think they’re okay for a Sunday-circuit sprint but should be sold with a complimentary tube of nappy rash cream…or a label stating they're not ideal for an extended tour.

You state the Brooks you used became so painful, but what model was that? The B67 is quite wide - unlike some of their cheese-knives - and with the springs it works in-sync with your back-side’s movement, not against it, un-like something like the B17. Similar to saying a donkey & a horse ride the same, similar, but makes for a very different ride.

Thanks for that Yellow 7. At the start of the thread I did ask for feedback from those who did my type of touring to avoid stuff from the frustated racers who think they tour. I am purely a 10,000+ miles a year, enjoy every mile cyclist who has not looked at average speed for almost 3 years, because it doesn't matter.

I have tried all the B17 range except for the high priced Select. Also tried most of the Team Pro and borrowed many others to try. I have not tried the B67 but will look into it.
