Towels

It's been a loooooong time since I last posted a thread, but I really want to know how I can add the softness back into my towels, they gone like sandpaper.

Any ideas?

p.s. I wash with conditioner and everything, is it just time to get new ones?

Take them to a laundrette (this doesn't work with domestic machines) and put them in one of those big machines, then add a whole bottle of Fairy liquid. A big one. Then sit back and relax....

Swee'pea - How do you know that works, and in what way does it work, apart from ensuring you are never allowed into the Launderette again?

Towels aren't supposed to like fabric softner, it clogs up their absorbency or something. I'd give them a warm wash and then a tumble dry... worth a shot anyway!
