I've got the 50K Northern England one. Its fine but obviously lacks the detail you get in 25K. I often have to keep checking google earth as I'm planning routes with it to make sure there is, for example, a track where there appears to be one on tracklogs.
Its fine for completely on road routes though.
They all work out about the same cost. This is largely because of the licence fee that they have to pay to OS. I went for Tracklogs simply becasue (at the time) they were the only people offering site centred mapping which for me use very useful.
One of the downsides to tracklogs (and it might not matter to you) is that it does not support layers i.e. I cannot overlay the plotted route with the actual route recorded by the GPS for comparison purposes or even have multiple routes on the one map.
Another programme I came across recenly that looks interesting and appeals to my cheapskate side is this one:
I just had a look at the Quo pricing: You can get the whole of the UK for £79.99 compared to £149.99 from Tracklogs.
If you already have TL they will also give you a 25% discount on production of evidence of ownership. It might be a no brainer to buy the cheapest TL package and then use it to claim 25% of Quo.
