Hi, anyone know if you can use the trade in bike for 20% discount at Halfords and then use the cycle to work scheme as well on the same purchase ?

Doubtful, check the Ts & Cs (you can’t combine with British cycling discount for example)

It’s not on their website so no surprise.
if you want to save on C2W, probably the only way is to wait until the bike is officially reduced, there was no Easter sale, might be one Whitsun Bank Holiday, otherwise autumn

Gravel, offers best of both. You can always add skinnier tyres. More adaptable than many road bikes for all year round commuting too

Yeah I need to just take the plunge and go for it. For first bike I think gravel will be best
