I took my driving test many, many years ago, so am fortunate not to have to re-qualify to tow a trailer.
On my driving test, whilst doing the 3 point turn, I touched the kerb whilst reversing. Didn't hit it hard, but hard enough that I knew I had done it, and so did the examiner. I gave up hope of passing at that point, and just drove normally. And passed.......
