I`ve not tried the canal/trans pennine route. As I come from near the Airport I may well do my usual run to Chorlton Marina, Sale water park then jib over through Stretford and your route. I can then get back home from Lymm via Dunham/Altrincham.

Chorlton Waterpark nice September day for a change. Out of interest does anyone else refer to the trail behind the Waterpark as the 3 sisters?
