Train travel

Help! Trying to book bike on Glasgow to Oban train through trainline and have been told there are no spaces available. Not travelling until June so think this doesn't seem right. Anyone know anything about this?

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations_destinations/93777.aspx says bikes can be booked 12 weeks ahead so they'll have been booking up for a few weeks. It's possible they're sold out but it seems unlikely. Could try asking at a good staffed station if you know one (like the excellent Downham Market) and see if they can find any bike spaces.
