Had a great week at the club training camp, set of on Friday the 16th got to Gatwick airport for an overnight stay in the Hampton by Hilton, we had an early Saturday flight so it seemed like the right thing to do. Had a drink in the bar, we then heard others where staying nearby so we got the bus to meet them for a last drink before retiring for the night, Great start to the week,
Up at 4am for a light bite then straight into the terminal. it's just downstairs. Had a good flight nice and smooth, transfer from Alicante to Calpe, checked into the Hotel Diamonte Beech, lovely hotel, The club had arranged for a van to bring all the bikes over, they were all waiting for us when we got there, nothing like having your own bike, Saturday afternoon we had a little meander, getting used to riding on the other side of the road.

Then it was time for a bit of a feed, then an hour or so in the bar before an early night,
Up bright and early Sunday morning for a good breakfast, then of on the first ride of the day, we had to cut it short as the rain came, so back to the hotel.

After a while the rain stopped so we set of again, then the rain came back we got soaked.

Back to the hotel for an early shower,
Monday morning the weather was better so of w went again, great ride lovely smooth roads, no pot holes all good.

Tuesday morning was hill repeats, that was F****** hard.

Wedneday was a ride to the cafe, then back to the hill we did Tuesday as my wife could not do it Tuesday we thought we would ride it on the Wedneday with her.

Thursday was a recovery ride nice and easy.

Friday was our last day of riding so we made the most of this one, really good ride, weather was a bit nippy first thing but soon warmed up, we had to get the bikes loaded back onto the van at 6-30pm, then it was time to eat, then into the bar for a last night celebration, Lovely place to ride, can really recommend people do this sort of thing.

Saturday morning was a lazy one as no bikes to ride, the flight was late in the afternoon so we had plenty of time, we decided to climb to the top of Calpe rock. That took a few hours but well worth the effort. I also had a little dip in the sea. So here i am at home wishing i was still in Spain,
