I am thinking of taking my grandson to the Normandy Beaches, and was considering using the train from Caen to Bayeux.

does anyone know whether it is possible to take a 'bent trike on the train, or is it a 'no no' [or should I say non non].

If you're outside peak times you should be OK. TER trains tend to be quite empty.
I've only ever tried taking standard uprights on them though.
Having said that, I have taken an upright trike unchallenged onto UK trains.
They may have thought I had a handicap (other than trying to ride a stupid upright trike home from Peterborough, that is).
