Transferring music from 1 phone to another

Hi, i have just upgraded my phone.
My question is I have music on the old phone and I want to transfer the music to the new one.
I have my play list but next to the songs is what looks like a key and am I right in thinking they locked.
How can I transfer the music without paying for them again

On my old phone the locked song's simply couldn't be deleted, it didn't mean they couldn't be bluetoothed to another phone.

The best way to find out is to try it, the old phones applications will probably still work with the sim card out of it.

Can you not download the music to a pc and then upload to new phone?

All my 'phone' music is in mp3 format, on the sd card. I back it up to the pc, then simply transfer it to the next phone as and when.
