Hi there.
I've not done any cycling for while due to illness but I'm hoping to be back in the saddle next year and am thinking about a long distance trip ( UK or further afield depending on how my recovery goes)
Either way, I'd like to combine it with a bit of charity fundraising and was looking for some tips on creating and maintaining a blog.
The big thing for me is I want to AVOID FACEBOOK! I've found in the past it can attract a lot of negative attention and security concerns.
Is there a platform out there which can reach a good size audience and allow me to post weekly updates and pictures of my trip.
Any advice on this and any other aspects of my proposed trip ( like how to keep it interesting ) would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Malk

I like a good blog, video or written and the thing that I find interesting are the local history and how it fits into the ride.

Of course there is, right here, in the travelogue section.
You an also write drafts that only you can see in the thread editing suite.
When you're ready to publish us mods will move your travelogue to live for all to see.
Only CC members can comment, but if you give out the link, anyone on the net can read your posts.
