Hi Guys

So im traveling to london for the London to Brighton event mid coming from Manchester on the train regardless and returning on the train, would you take your bike to in a bike bag on the train or loose. Then have the faff of packing it back up after brighton? Coming back in a car then back to london then back on the train? Any thoughts?

Manchester to London will presumably be a Virgin train, which have dedicated bike spaces, but not necessarily space for large luggage. (ie, bagged bike!) Just make sure you book a free bike ticket for the same train you buy your ticket for (This could all be done in one go if you go to a station or ring them up)

I've never bagged my bike for rail journeys in the UK or Europe. Never had a need to.

If the car is big enough to accept the bike whole no stripping down is necessary. Otherwise you might have to remove the front wheel.

Extreme measures might have to be taken if the car is a Fiat 126

Just ride from Euston. You are from Manchester, you will be fine on London roads, just watch out for too many bloody cyclists!

The car drivers are pussies compared to ours.
