Looking at getting one bike to do both, road and gravel
80% Road and 20% light gravel

Which bike would do the better overall job!

For light gravel I'd go the Domane SLR - it comes with 32c tyres anyway and that's plenty for light gravel trails. And it'll go nicely on the roads where you're expecting to spend more time.

If you were planning on riding muddier bridlepath type trails then the checkpoint would be my go to but only because I'm unfamiliar with the Cervelo.

Thanks, I have heard the Domane is heavy and may be very heavy for the road..
