Indeed...best way to see if the weight is ok, is to pick it up. If having to heave onto roof bars etc, make sure the weight is ok when lifting above your head
None of the bikes @Sloth is looking at will have bar tape, although some might have heavier grips

Found somewhere not too far away that has an FX4 Sport in stock to actually ride. I’m going on Saturday.
If it wows me I may buy it, otherwise it’s going to be the Giant Fastroad Advanced.
