ignore all!!!!! just looked at the price of the Silque - I thought it was the 2015 equivalent of the 2014. Not so.

Thanks Vickster... do you know what the difference is between the lexa and avail?
They are similar, same groupset,cassette

The giant has a carbon seat post, giant wheels and tyres
Trek has alloy seat post, generic wheels, bontrager tyres

Ash have the giant in a 50, which I believe is a medium, which is the size I had at just under 5'10. It's £200 cheaper, which is a fair chunk if it's your size, you like the colour, the fit etc.

the Trek you'll have to buy in store, they don't do mail order. While unless in East London / Essex that giant will be mail order, so depends if you are comfortable with that, you won't get a free 6 week service, nor be able to go back easily if issues

So what have you decided to get? Really need to go and ride the different options. Evans are very good for this, butthey don't sell Giant. But you've got a giant store down in Shoreham who will presumably pop the bikes on a turbo for you which should give you an idea of fit and feel

The blue trek really is very lovely in the metal too

If you are brave enough to go mail order and fancy carbon...also in a lovely blue

My c 2 w scheme is with cycleshack in lewes who only stock genesis and trek. i keep on going back to the trek lexa slx. I keep hearing so much praise for genesis bikes which i think is why i keep on stalling... i'm going to go and see if i can try out fhe lexa, and a couple of the genesis road models and go from there. really going to decide on how they feel to ride and fit ultimately. i was going to go for the top CDF originally but i've already got a sirrus. the sirris serves really well as a commuter and tourer... so decided against a CX bike as it wouldnt really add anything to my stable as it were. i,m a great one for over researching... i just need to go and try.... then buy... can't wait!!!

I built a genesis equilibrium 20, lovely bike. Depends if steel floats your boat really

I have a flat bar, carbon roadbike, and the genesis. Don't think I need anything else/more!
