And the photo does the colour scheme no favours, it looks superb in the flesh, which is weird really as the black looked stunning in the photos but very plain and boring in real life.........red was the only choice

It was a Trek 2.1 in black they had in Trek shop in Malaga (2014) or a Trek 2.3 in green (2013) but alas they couldn't come up with a good enough deal to beat the Specialized shop so I opted for the Specialized Allez Comp in the post above..
So the Trek shop lost out..
But I do like Specialized anyway as I already have Specialized bike which is good for me?

That looks really good Dangermouse, I didn't know Trek did the Madone in that red. The website just shows black or white versions for the 2.1, I'd take one in that red though.

I had to search loads of online shops to see the red one, and it wasn't a very flattering pic, that's why I went with the intention of buying the black one.
