triban 3, broke a spoke.....

annoylingly i appear to have broken a spoke after only 3 and a half months (500 miles).

i am heavy but didnt think they'd pop that quickly, rang the shop they said bring it in and they will fix it and service the bike.

the triban just gets better and bettter.

I broke one after 2wks and 350 miles. Only one for 4 years (dint ride much between 2008-2012) had 4 since June, all on the drive side.

so they fixed it for free.

42 miles later again popped a rear spoke.

may be timeto invest in new wheels....

Get someone to de-tension and re-tension the wheels fully (i.e. rebuild with the same spokes). They should be ok after that if it's done by a competent wheel builder.
