triban 3 not true sizing

I bought a triban 3 a while back in a 63. measured it today 59cm.....

feels ok but i now want a new bike as i feel cheated and wonder if there is something more comfortable.

assuming you are being serious - where are you measuring it from...?

Where did you measure? The frame has a sloping top tube, which could throw off your measurements if you are measuring between different points to the measurement points used in the spec.

Out of what? a lb of ally? People spend a fortune to shed that amount of weight.

The top tube is angled, measure the virtual horizontal top tube length!

At 6' 8", if it is a true 59cm the seat post must be all but dropping out and you must have your arris so far in the air!! it wouldn't feel OK surely? I know frame sizes can be so missleading eg a cube 62 is nearer a true 58.

earlier, you said the bike 'feels ok'. Does the bike fit you or not?

i think so, im very new to this, i have a 450mm seat post right at the maximum length.... and an adjustable stem thats 130mm length

tomorrow i shall sit on her and get the wife to take a pic to see what you guys think of positioning

Yes, you'll need the virtual seat tube length, as in the diagram below
