Doing some test prep and came across this tricky little puzzler, quite pleased with the solution so thought others might want a crack. :smile:

Hide your answers so as not to spoil it, but you'll know when you have the answer, you won't need me to confirm if you've cracked it.

It's nice isn't it. I spent ages, well relatively speaking when a timer is running, juggling all sorts of complex mathematical combinations, and was just about to pass when..it struck me.

I particularly like the red herring 99-17=12, and 134-35=99

Haha, I get it. Nice. I did some horrible aptitude tests for a job application recently, some of them I don't know how you were even supposed to read all the information in the time given. It was just skim read then best estimate.

I passed the tests but choked at the interview.

Puzzle game procrastinator!
It took me a while to spot it ...

Answer: 67! Reverse the numbers in each horizontal pair of boxes and add them to get the number in the diamond between them.
