No, no, a bit further south than you where probably thinking... yes, I'm talking about leg hair.

Now, last time I asked a similar question I got a range of responses, from staples to garters.
The problem is my bicycle shorts keep sliding up my legs. I've gone through a range of different brands, including some Specialized and Tenn. Some shorts are better than others, however after a couple of hundred meters it all comes to the same conclusion, a rather annoying thing to say the least.

I believe (as suggested by others in my original post) it is down to leg hair reducing friction on the grippers. I can't believe that it's down to poor quality grippers, especially when you consider I've tried five or six different brands, sizes and qualities.

So, I've been thinking it would be wise to trim my leg hair, however I am looking for some tips. I don't want to shave completely, however any tips on shortening it to hopefully let the silicon bands grip better would be appreciated. I was planning on using scissors originally, but some of you might have a better solution for an even cut.

And please, no staples, no garters and no sticky tape!

Thank you

Shave a strip one razor blade wide on each leg at shorts position!

Hmm, I've never thought of doing that. Certainly would be easier than doing the entire lot and since the shorts come up just above the knee it shouldn't be obviously visible when wearing normal shorts which would fall just below the knee.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Do away with the grippers and get a pair off these...

I have hairy legs like an ape and no problems with the shorts riding up.

I use short Ground Effect knicks, and have never had a problem with the hem sliding up.

I've got very hairy legs and never had any sort of problem with shorts riding up, £15 from decathlon. The lining pair in my Endura Humvees stays in place too. maybe you've got especially slippery legs
