After 14 years of never having a front mech work 100% properly on one on my commuter bikes (tried many combinations over the years), I've finally given up and converted the whole thing to a single chain ring set up. At least I have 7 usable gears now, rather than the 4 top ratios.
So, I have for sale:
Shimano Alivio front mech, about a year old in reasonable nick. £7
The shifter and the cables will come with this.
Shimano triple chainset/cranks - it doesn't appear to have a model name, about three years old, in reasonable nick £20+p&p
