Triple shot replacement parts

The cable on my Cateye tripleshot has packed up where the cable from the battery enters the connector. I've ripped it apart and soldered it and gaffer taped it. Clearly not a long term fix.
Does anyone know if you can just buy the cable and if it can be fitted to the battery? I don't really want to shell oput £150 for a new battery or £300 for a completely new light.

got the very same light albeit modded, doubt very much you can get spares unless ebay brings up something. The batteries can be replaced ! I believe, however need soldering tools etc to do it. I think there is a driver board as well that sits in the battery pack regulating the voltage/current etc. So unless you are good with a soldering iron then it could well be a bin job if things turn worse.

theres one I found but considering the magichsines that you can get for not much more!!?? maybe buying a new light is a better option.

I'm not too keen on ebay but I'll watch the auction to see how high the bids get. I will see how my repair goes and talk to the chaps at the LBS to see if there is a reasonably-priced way through.
