Trouble finding gloves and apols for cross-posting

Hi

I'm suffering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome again. I've got nice big gel-filled handlebar grips, but need the right gloves too. Can anyone recommmend a source of the older type of gel glove? I need the ones with the broad gel strips across the palm, not the more modern, over-engineered and under-effective type with strategically-located gel spots.

Hello Old man, just noticed that my new grey Trek mitts have fully covered palms, they are unusually comfy on the rocky 21 mile Sustrans route home. The palm pad is squarish and does seem to cover the whole of the inner palm without being overstuffed. I've stopped wearing the full finger gloves which have the more common thumb pad as a result.
BTW Butty Boy had this troble and ended up with surgery, but he seems sorted now. Hope all is well otherwise.
