Trying to find an old episode of Top Gear...

Well, actually only a segment from one episode, where Tiff Needell tests an EJR Reynard 883 Formula 3 car. More specifically, Paul Warwick's Reynard 883.

Have been looking on youtube, but am not having much luck.

I know it's from 1988 (either series 19 or 20) or quite possibly early 1989 (much less likely).

Any ideas, folks?

Doubt they'd have tested a current car, 883 being an 88 car.

Likely tail end of the season then, which does narrow it down somewhat.

That's because in 1989 a) Paul Warwick drove for Intersport, b) Camel sponsorship moved from EJR to Paul Stewart Racing and c) Rickard Rydell drove for EJR with Talkland sponsorship.

I know, I know, I'm a nerdy geek.
